Mo te turanga - About the roleAs an Audit Manager role in our Internal Audit team, you will play a key role in providing independent, objective and risk focused assurance to ANZ New Zealand's Board Audit Committee. Our team aim to deliver differentiated internal audit services through harnessing the power of digital and data. We believe in commercially understanding the risks, issues, and opportunities across the Bank.
Some of your responsibilities will include conducting research and fieldwork for your assigned audit areas and contributing to the assessment of the risk profile and controls of the designated business area.

Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look likeIn a typical day or week, your work may involve the following:
Working within a team to critically analyse the appropriate use and/or effectiveness of a business' internal controlsSupport the team lead in managing stakeholder expectationsWriting clear, concise working documents, focussed on risk and root causeOu Pukenga? - What will you bringTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Up to 5 years' experience in an assurance focussed role, gained in a professional services firm or comparable industry.Strong understanding of the Banking industry, and how banks operate.Basic skills in data analytics, and ideally some prior experience with the use of BI tools.Good stakeholder management skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills.Tertiary level qualification in a discipline of finance, law, computing, or data science, with relevant professional accreditation, or working towards (such as CA, CIA or CISA).You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
