Nga Korero mo tenei turanga / About the role Join our Poneke / Wellington Private Business team and assist with work on client portfolios and support the delivery of high quality advice to a diverse range of clients with accounting and tax compliance, finance function support and reporting, tax planning, financial modeling and other advisory assignments.
Your roles and responsibilities may include: Assisting a diverse client base with technical advice on accounting and tax advisory assignments Help lead organisations to identify risk areas and sustainable planning opportunities throughout the tax life cycle Preparation of technical accounting and tax compliance work including tax returns and statutory financial statements Support the finance function for a wide range of clients including, month end reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, board reporting and system/process improvements Engage in planning and delivery for multiple projects Nga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experience Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 2-4 years experience in a CA environment or a Business Advisory role A background in Accounting and/or Finance Previous experience in preparation of tax and accounting compliance (tax returns and financial statements) Proficiency in the use of Xero software (or similar accounting packages) Analytically minded with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZ Unrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.
