Job Description And Responsibilities
We are looking for an Associate Mobile Developer who is passionate about solving exciting business problems and building mobile applications that provide an excellent user experience.
You will be an integral part of the Mobile Value Stream who deliver the mobile offering of our Visa Spend Clarity Enterprise product.
We are looking for people who have emerging experience in either iOS Swift, Android Kotlin, or another relevant technology.
As an Associate Mobile Developer, you will be:

Developing mobile front-end and back-end software for either, or both iOS and Android including developing world-leading integration of virtual credit cards with Apple and Google Pay.
Supporting the development of quality code by being involved in peer reviews (coding, security, data, architecture).
Good understanding of native technologies (Kotlin and/or Swift).
Involved in technical system design in collaboration with other developers, architects, product owners, and UX designers.
Using your understanding of mobile technology and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time, based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate: 2 or more years of work experience.
Ideally one to two years' experience in professional software development.
Experience developing and maintaining Android applications using Java or Kotlin and/or iOS applications using Swift.
Experience with Android SDK/iOS SDK.
Experience translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Some understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Some understanding of front-end design patterns (Redux, MVVM, MVP, etc).
Good team collaboration and communication skills.
Strong personal development skills and a learning attitude.
Some understanding with remote data via REST and JSON.
Some understanding in writing Unit tests, BDD, Automated UI, and API testing.
Developing in Xamarin would be a bonus.
.Net development in C# would be a bonus.
Security and accessibility experience would be useful.

As a Mobile Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
You should also be a great teammate with a curiosity about visual design and utility. If you are also familiar with Agile methodologies, we would like to meet you.
