This role will require experience across payroll, ER and good generalist experience. About the Role The Associate HR Manager New Zealand will be responsible for overall management and implementation of Arthrex NZ's HR Policies/Procedures. The position works closely with the APAC HR Director, General Manager NZ (and team) and reports to the Senior HR Manager ANZ.
We are looking to enable a growing HR function in New Zealand (previously was all handled from Australia) – as such the role is initially for 6 months with a strong view to permanently embedding HR in NZ moving forward, of which you will lead this function in NZ.
Employee Relations (ER) - in partnership with relevant stakeholders manage full lifecycle of ER and provide sound and pragmatic advice. Ensure compliance of Arthrex with local laws and regulations. Assist with a global SAP HRIS Employee Central rollout (when the time comes) HR Strategic planning, leveraging and improving what has already been setup by the ANZ team and localising for New Zealand. Develop an overall strategy for HR in NZ, in line with regional and global objectives. Recruitment & Onboarding – working in partnership with the TA Manager ANZ HR Admin & Compliance – implementing and reviewing HR policies as necessary. About the Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent with experience in HR Strong knowledge of New Zealand's current HR Legalisation and labour laws Good experience with HRIS and Payroll systems About Arthrex Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in new product development and medical education in Orthopaedics.
