Her designs cleverly play with cultural subtext, juxtaposing luxe and street, masculine and feminine, folk and utility, creating pieces that are both directional and wearable.The role:We are seeking expressions of interest for an experienced and highly skilled retailer looking to take the next step in their Management career! Based out of our boutique in Britomart, Auckland CBD, you will join our growing team at Karen Walker and embody all areas of brand ambassadorship. Assisting in inspiring a tight-knit team, you will pioneer the overall performance of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, all while leading and motivating a high performing team.Key Responsibilities:Deliver and promote a positive, collaborative, and professional team environment.Lead the development of your team through regular coaching.Develop community engagement through relevant clienteling tools.Collaborate with Head of Retail to monitor category performance.Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on product and sales strategies.Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Embodiment of brand ambassadorship on the shop floor.Key Requirements:Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiencies in Microsoft Suite as well as POS and inventory management software.Strong commercial acumen across all aspects of retail management.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.Incomparable analytical and problem-solving skills.Why work with us:Competitive remuneration package.Generous discounts and opportunities for regular commissions.Regular and ongoing training to support you and your team.Opportunity to work with one of New Zealand's most prestigious designers.Work with a highly experienced, warm & welcoming team.To be considered you must be a NZ permanent resident or citizen.Application Questions:Do you have experience with inventory management?How many years of retail management experience do you have?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Do you have customer service experience?Do you have visual merchandising experience?Do you have experience using point of sale (POS) software?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
