sKids was founded in 1996 when two parents created a structured out of school care service for primary aged children.
Now we're New Zealand's favourite kid's hangout, welcoming over 3800 tamariki each day at over 170 school sites.

As an Assistant Programme Manager , you will be responsible for assisting your Programme Manager with programme set up and the daily operation of the programme as well as fostering great relationships with our school communities.
You would also play an important role in 'growing AWESOME kiwi kids'.
Hours of work: Minimum 12 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7am - 8.30am and 2.30pm - 6pm.

You will: Provide day to day supervisory care and responsibility for programme delivery.
Manage parent and school liaison when necessary.
Manage & oversee daily administrational tasks.
Ensure the safety of all children in the care of the sKids programme in accordance with the operating procedures, standards, guidelines and policies.
Ensure the daily programme runs as scheduled with the support of the Programme Assistant(s); brief the Programme Assistant(s) regarding tasks and activities using a duty list.
We're looking for someone who has: A strong passion for working with children aged 5-12 and helping inspire them to develop their confidence along with the ability to be true to themselves.
A strong team player.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent planning & organizing skills.
A valid NZ work visa or is a NZ resident or citizen.
