A full-time, permanent opportunity currently exists for an Assistant Brand & Shopper Manager to join our team based in Parnell, Auckland. This role sits within the Beverage team reporting into the Senior Brand Manager; Dairy and Cereals, with the opportunity to work on iconic kiwi brands such as MILO!
The focus of this role is to assist with the development of a 3-year brand strategy whilst monitoring the portfolio's expenditure program.
You will manage the development, field communication, and execution of channel-specific promotional activations and point of purchase solutions that engage the shopper for the assigned portfolio.
A day in the Life… Implementation of agreed plans as per brand essence, vision and manifesto within approved budgetsSupport implementation of Innovation & Renovation PlanWork with Brand & Category Managers to define and publish a clear vision of what in-store excellence looks likeDevelop and execute the POP Commercial Activity Plan, ensuring this is targeted and appropriate for the NZ ShopperWith the support of the Senior Brand Manager, manage the design, promotions, point of sale and Nestlé approved materialEnable the creation, sourcing, efficient storage and distribution of key premiums, point of purchase and printed materialIn conjunction with Category managers and the Marketing team, develop the sales tools required for delivering the commercial plan e.g. trade presenters, trade samples, presentation kitsIncorporate Trade standards for Best in Class field execution working with the Range and Sales Ops to get the necessary planograms requiredManage all administration, purchase orders and audit requirements ensuring compliance to all company policies and principlesBe a key driver behind the MILO Fantails partnership with NZ FootballWhat will make you successful: You will be degree qualified (Commerce / Business / Marketing) and ideally have had exposure within FMCG Sales and / or Marketing with at least 2 years work experienceExperience working in cross-functional teams desiredExcellent communication and strong project management skills are essential, and a level of digital experience will be highly regardedUltimately, it will be your innovative approach and ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects that will see you succeed in the roleFull New Zealand working rights and applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
