Assistant Accountant - Professional Services FirmThis is a newly created role due to business growth. Based in our Oriental Parade offices working with a fantastic team, your main role will be to provide financial accounting services to our key clients.Key responsibilities include:Providing effective and efficient bookkeeping services for our clients, including payroll, AR and debtor's collection, AP and Xero processingPreparing monthly management reports for our clientsCompleting GST returns and overseeing essential IRD processes and target datesLiaising with IRD and resolving requests, queries, and issuesTo be successful in this role, you should:Have 3+ years' experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably in a Professional Services environmentBe an experienced Xero user and familiar with add-ons like HubDoc and ApprovalMaxHave experience in AP, AR, credit control and payrollHave a good understanding of NZ Tax requirementsKnow your way around technology and be a fast learnerHave great problem solving and critical thinking skillsHave the confidence to develop relationships and build rapport with the team, clients, and business partnersWhat we can offer:Competitive remuneration and benefitsAbility to work flexibly, part time options considered, minimum 30 hours a weekModern and vibrant company cultureSupportive managers and a collaborative team environmentOpportunity to learn and develop your careerAbout us:+MORE is a national Business Advisory and Accountancy firm that truly cares about the success of our clients and our team.
