Here's what you'll focus on:
Setting up monthly Vendor / Supplier's Purchase Orders (PO).
Work with both the workstream and vendor to make sure that the invoices are loaded against the correct purchase orders.
Resolve queries and errors in a timely manner to ensure invoices are paid within agreed payment terms.
Creation of Weekly PO Report to track Work Order and Purchase order status.
Support the FM and Procurement team in management of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and Work Orders.
Creation of Monthly Aged Debt report, with inputs from vendor statements and outputs from both the JDE ledger and Coupa invoice system.
Present Monthly Aged Debt report to key stakeholders from Finance, Procurement and the Delivery team and highlight actions required to ensure timely payments.
Attendance at monthly vendor meetings, when required, to report on Aged Debt, Work Orders, and progress on outstanding queries.
Oversee the offshore team's payment and receivables process.
Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc reports and governance admin.
Our ideal person:
Minimum 5 years experience in similar AP or analytical roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced excel experience in being able to create and modify financial models.
Part qualified accountant is advantageous.
Attention to detail to ensure there is full confidence in your outputs.
Experience and/or the ability in working in a challenging, high-pressured environment.
Proactive, self-motivated, able to work effectively within a team and on their own.
Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
Be proficient in being able to use and learn new software (JDE / Coupa / Si7).
