The team provides high quality services and infrastructure to residents and visitors, managing the district's parks, trails, libraries, and recreational facilities, while enabling sustainable development.For more information on Queenstown Lakes District Council visit: https://www.qldc.govt.nz/The RoleLocated in Queenstown and reporting into the Strategic Asset Manager, this role is responsible for the tactical level asset management for QLDC's Property & Infrastructure asset portfolios relating to Transportation. This role involves managing and developing the necessary resources to support Transportation asset management and involves the provision of information related to the current state and performance of assets. You will provide asset management strategies and decision-making criteria, implementing them as part of the overall asset management system. You will also be responsible for managing the Transport Programmes and for delivering Asset and Activity Management Plans and driving best practice asset management throughout the asset lifecycle. You will liaise with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency on transport funding and stay current with industry good practice.Your Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, with a strong technical understanding of strategic or operational transportation or infrastructure asset management, business case processes, relevant legislation, and industry practice.
