Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleThe primary purpose of the Asset Data Analyst is to support clinical asset and investment optimisation analysis and performance reporting. You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of asset data policies, standards, and processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will work with various stakeholders to gather requirements, share insights and support decision-making related to asset management.About the TeamWe are a dedicated small team focused on enhancing healthcare through strategic management of health technologies. As an emerging business unit within Health NZ, we are recognised as a key strategic partner. Our collaborative approach fosters teamwork and collective effort. While we've laid the groundwork, we need your skills to bring structure and organization to our initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to mandate your own data set.About youYou have a passion for data in all its forms. Ideally, you are well-versed in Asset Management best practices and standards, and you possess knowledge of the Better Business Case model as well as Treasury's investment planning framework.Advanced experience with analytical tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, SQL, and MS Excel.Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.Excellent written communication and analytical skills with the ability to manage complexity.Collaborative mindset with a desire to share knowledge and support team growth.Strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn.A background in System Administration would be advantageous but not essential.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
