Architectural Technician

We are currently looking for a NZ resident architecture graduate and/or architectural technician to join our busy practice.
The person applying for this position will have at least 3 years post qualification experience with a good understanding of NZ construction methods & detailing as well as a thorough knowledge of NZS3604, NZBC and building consent procedures.
Good design skills, CAD draughting skills and the ability to work unsupervised are essential.
The successful applicant will also have a full understanding of the requirements for documentation to assist with gaining building consent as well as presentation plans, pricing and construction documentation.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ArchiCAD software; however, consideration will be given to those with experience in other CAD software.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the position involves direct liaison with clients, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and Territorial Authorities.
Salary is negotiable and will depend on skills and experience.
