Appointment Coordinator, Gastroenterology Service

We have a Appointment Coordinator role available within our busy multi-disciplinary Gastroenterology department in Middlemore Hospital.
This is a full time, 12 months fixed term role and working 40 hours a week Monday to Sunday.
The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for working with patients and their families.
In this role you will be responsible for logging and loading referrals, some procedure wait-list management and negotiating appointments with patients directly.
Meeting and greeting patients as they arrive in the department and.
You will have the opportunity to be part of each step of our patient's journey.
For this role you will need to demonstrate: Excellent communication skills A passion for working with patients A strong customer focus Excellent administration skills Be team minded IPM and Concerto experience is a distinct advantage for this role, although training will be provided In exchange for your skills and passion we will support you with an excellent orientation programme working with a great motivated team.

The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
