Job Description :Lead and motivate the Air Operations team to deliver a superior customer experience to our Maersk logistics customers, including managing the capacity and workload within the team and being the first escalation point for issues.Employee Engagement: Maintain focus on employee engagement within the New Zealand air operations team.Customer Relationship Management: actively build strong relationships with customers, vendors and support our commercial teams.Operations Execution: Execution of operational processes agreed between Maersk and the Customer and driving efficiencies and high performance within the team.Standard Implementation: Implementing and adhering to processes in line with the agreed execution.Profitability: Focus on identifying and implementing operational efficiencies to increase cost effectivenessCollaboration: Closely collaborate with other teams within and across Stations and GSC. Job Requirements:Strong Air end to end process knowledgeGood people and change leadership skillsGood interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills Ability to engage and link multiple parties across functions and geographiesAbility to understand and interpret performance dataStrong customer focus Eligibility to work on a permanent basis in New ZealandPreferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well as pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check.
