After School Programme Drivers

Details of the offer

We run two after-school programs for primary and intermediate students from refugee backgrounds from Monday to Thursday during the school term. The children, aged 5-13 years, are supported with their learning difficulties with the help of volunteers and trained teachers and also take part in fun activities. By providing transport to and from our program, we ensure their safety and alleviate stress on caregivers. To run this program successfully, we need volunteers to help our after-school program by picking them up from their school and dropping them off at our after-school programs at two centers.
The children need to be picked up from their respective schools (more details will be provided on schools and routes) and dropped off at these two centres:
Wintec D.G.07 and 06 - City Campus - Mondays and Wednesdays - 3.00 pm to 5.00 pmSt. Paul's Collegiate School - Tuesdays and Thursdays - 3.00 pm to 5.00 pmVolunteers can pick which day/s suit them best. We will provide more details during the interview.
We will reimburse you for any petrol used while transporting children.
Requirements: A clean full driver's license and road-legal vehicle.Able to maintain confidentiality.We are looking for warm, friendly and reliable volunteers to provide the children with a safe and comfortable environment.A Police background check is required for this role (We will arrange this).ROC Trust can provide a reference for you after 3 months of volunteering to support with job applications.Time commitment:
Monday to Thursday, from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Alternatively, please let us know what days you are able to help on.
