Join RBNZ's high performing Communications & Stakeholder Engagement team in an exciting role working at New Zealand's central bank.
Be a key player at the forefront of Te Putea Matua's (Reserve Bank of New Zealand) work.
Our Corporate, Industry and International Relations team focuses on developing strong partnership-based relationships with both New Zealand and international stakeholders.
The team works closely with internal business groups to effectively engage and promote their work externally.
You will report to the Manager of Corporate, Industry and International Relations.
As an Adviser, your role will be to advocate for Te Putea Matua's work and deepen our stakeholder networks to help us achieve our strategic goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the engagement strategy design and promoting it internally.
Supporting how the team records and reports on engagement activity.
Providing information to the Business on potential risks and how to effectively manage them.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
A minimum of two years experience in a corporate/government relations or stakeholder engagement advisory role.
A good understanding or a strong interest in economics and/or financial markets and/or regulated entities.
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely for non-technical audiences, tailoring messages to different audiences.
Proven ability to provide sound advice to senior leaders.
