Be a key player at the forefront of Te Putea Matua's (Reserve Bank of New Zealand) work. Te turanga – The role Our Corporate, Industry and International Relations team is focused on the development of strong partnership-based relationships with both New Zealand and international stakeholders. The team works closely with internal business groups to effectively engage and promote their work externally. You will be reporting to the Manager of Corporate, Industry and International Relations.
As an Adviser, your role will be to advocate for Te Putea Matua's work and deepen our stakeholder networks to help us achieve our strategic goals.
Other parts of your work will include:
Supporting the engagement strategy design and promoting it internally
Supporting how the team records and reports on engagement activity
Providing information to the business on potential risks and how to effectively manage them
O pukenga – About you To be successful in this position you will have:
A minimum of two years experience in corporate/government relations or stakeholder engagement advisory role
A good understanding or a strong interest in economics and/or financial markets and/or regulated entities
Excellent writing and communication skills and an ability to write clearly and concisely for non-technical audiences, tailoring messages to different audiences
Proven ability to provide sound advice to senior leaders
