For publishers, the company's proprietary platform maximizes revenue per impression through unique creative and targeting solutions.THE OPPORTUNITYWe are looking for a Sales Director to spearhead sales within the New Zealand market, with the responsibility of delivering digital advertising revenue from NZ agencies and clients – both Programmatically and via Direct IO.The Sales Director will report to the APAC Commercial Director and will be responsible for the sales revenue growth across all agencies and direct clients in the region.This person will establish working relationships with agency trading desks, major agency holding companies and clients, to cement our client's brand name in the New Zealand market.The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically and work independently to achieve sales targets by delivering custom solutions for key brand advertisers.The Sales Director should be capable of utilizing their existing contacts and creating new contacts to achieve revenue targets and help the APAC team reach the market revenue goal.By executing our client's sales strategy, you will be expected to demonstrate empathy, an easy to deal with approach and also excellent product and marketplace knowledge plus the ability to interrogate and understand client briefs and requirements that will enable our client to deliver the very best solutions that work every time.Programmatic advertising is growing therefore a knowledge of the trading desks and DSP's would be extremely beneficial.A key element of the role is establishing, managing and maintaining trading relationships. Customer centricity is paramount to the success of this role.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDelivering against annual and quarterly revenue targets.Working with the APAC Commercial Director to utilise combined contacts and knowledge, to drive the ANZ business.Building our client's brand name within agency groups across New Zealand - media agencies, ATD's, DSP's and clients.Understand the dynamics of trading and negotiation at a holding company level.Provide direction, management and clear reporting to sales leadership and account management teams.Be a team player, hungry, motivated and connected.Build a world class customer service ethos with our client's customers.Develop sales collateral with help of marketing and design teams.Arrange and attend sales/client meetings, provide insight on creative concepts, best practices, and technical implementations based on past campaign experiences.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEPrevious experience as Sales Manager/Account Director/Sales Director, or ability to step into that role.Ideally the seller will be able to create sales opportunities and meetings with key agencies and clients.Experience selling within the New Zealand market is preferred.Existing relationships with client teams, programmatic trading desks, key agency holding companies and trading personnel.Show gravitas, in decision making, conduct and presentations.Work hand in hand with the APAC Commercial Director – sales, programmatic, training, reporting, expectation setting.Maintain existing relationships and cultivate new ones.Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines.Experience working in a client/agency-facing role for a media, online or technology firm.Winning personality, can do attitude, start-up mentality and flexibility essential.Work with the APAC Commercial Director to create and execute a sales strategy that delivers results.APPLY TODAY! #J-18808-Ljbffr
