Regularly consulted by various government ministries and media, the organisation is recognised as an expert body in their field.The organisation is looking to recruit a Membership Communication Executive/PA, providing communications and high-level administration support to members and senior executives.The RoleReporting to the Association President and working closely with the Operations Manager, the Membership Communication Executive/PA plays a crucial role in membership communication; writing, editing and proofing communications on behalf of the President and Senior Executives.The role also supports the President with report preparation, handling information requests and performing administration functions such as diary and email management, travel and meeting scheduling and meeting minutes.In addition, you will be responsible for:Preparing reports, memos, letters, articles, blog posts and other documentsWriting and/or editing and proofing letters, reports, articles, blogs, or communication updates on behalf of the organisationPlanning/coordinating/updating and maintaining communication of key messages to the members across multiple platformsPreparing or editing publications for internal or external audiencesEnsuring adherence to brand standards internally and externallyProviding accurate administration of membership dataAttending meetings to record minutes, as and when requestedResponding to incoming membership and subscription enquiriesGeneral office administrative support as required.Your backgroundRelevant tertiary qualification – e.g. Communications, Journalism, or similar (preferred)Technology savvy – including MS Office, Sharepoint, Canva, Visio, Photoshop, various social media platformsProven experience writing/delivering/editing the message on behalf of othersA high level of numeracy and literacy (essential)Strong proof-reading skills.Your personal attributesAttention to detailExcellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skillsSelf-motivatedWell-organised and adaptableEfficient, reliable and proactive, with a professional attitudeAbility to work independently or in a team.This organisation is focused to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of its membership.
