Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleIn this interesting and busy role your daily administrative tasks will be made up of a variety of tasks that support the arrival of pepi and also the ongoing care they and their birthing person/people may require within the healthcare system, such as:Covering reception duties, which includes booking patients in for their birthing process and/or other medical proceduresAdmitting visitors outside of visiting hoursAnswering enquiries from visitors and inpatients, both in person and on the telephoneMaintaining effective electronic and paper filing systemsCo-ordination of Birth NotificationsArranging outpatient clinic appointmentsProviding administrative support to the midwife managers when requiredAs our Service runs 24/7, our administration staff work standard office hours across a 5 day (Monday – Friday) roster. The reception desk is open from 0800-2030 Monday to Friday. However, in the future we may expand this to 7 days a week, so the ability to work evening and weekend shifts is essential to be considered for this role.
