Administration Manager, NZ Embassy Abu Dhabi
The New Zealand Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is seeking a new Administration Manager.

The Administration Manager leads a team of six people providing administrative support within a total team of twelve. Key deliverables include but are not limited to:

Ensure high quality administrative services are delivered by your team.
Develop a capable, flexible and resilient administrative team.
Be a positive and inclusive member of the Embassy leadership team.

We'd like to hear from you if you are an experienced admin professional with the following skills and experience:

An inclusive leader, modelling Ministry values in all you do.
A track record of delivery.
Resilience and resourcefulness.
An ability to lead and manage a diverse team in complex situations.
Prior experience in administration leadership, preferably in Embassies or government, would be an advantage.

Ideally you will also have a good understanding of working with different cultures. A knowledge of tikanga (Maori customs and protocols) with the ability to weave te ao Maori (the Maori worldview) into your work would be welcome. If you don't have much knowledge of New Zealand and Maori customs and protocols, as long as you have a willingness to learn and a desire to develop your cultural capability, we offer training and support.
The successful candidate will be employed on local terms and conditions in Abu Dhabi and must have the right to live and work in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own relocation to Abu Dhabi.
To be considered for this position you must be a citizen from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, United Kingdom or the USA and be able to obtain and maintain a New Zealand Government National Security clearance at Confidential Level or above.
