About the Company: Our client, a well-established Chartered Accounting firm in Matamata, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team. This firm is known for its commitment to providing exceptional accounting and advisory services, fostering a collaborative work environment, and supporting professional growth. Role Overview: In this role, you'll be managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting firm and be ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents.
Client relationship management, ensuring consistent client satisfaction.
Providing advisory services such as budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
Assisting with audit processes and meeting all financial reporting deadlines.
Utilizing accounting software, including Xero and MYOB, to maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborating with the team to achieve firm objectives and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Chartered Accounting firm.
CA or CPA qualification (or progress towards it) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in Xero and MYOB.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
