Accountant

We are an Accountancy Professional Company, passionate in assisting clients with their Accounting and Taxation needs. We have 30 years Accountancy experience. IRD registered Tax Agent with a 10 years 100% filing rate. We are experts in taxation and all related matters to IRD. We offering business Formations, GST, PAYE, Financial Statements, Forecasting & Budgeting, File Income Tax for Contractors, Property Investments, Sole Traders, Companies, Partnership, Trusts and Individuals.
Due to the expansion of the business, we are in need of an accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to meet the following
requirements:

Bachelor or above qualification in relevant field
Good Work ethic and eye for details
Familiar with accounting system and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills & great motivation

Job Description:

Providing financial and taxation advice for clients
Preparing taxation returns for individuals and organisations, including income tax return, GST return, PAYE.
Creating financial reports and forecasted financial reports as required.
Dealing with taxation disputes, such as overdue payment and incorrect tax returns.
Liaising with stakeholders (boss), mainly with clients, IRD authorities, and New Zealand Company Registration Office.
Providing advice on using accounting systems, such as MYOB and Xero, iPayroll.
Setting up new client files and register them on our client list (IRD number, phone number, email address, and physical address).
Classifying clients document, each customer has a client folder, from they sign "letter of authority to act" to file IRD returns and pay tax.
Assisting with office work, such as printing, scanning and answering the phone calls.
