Access Manager, Waitakere Hospital

Access Manager Location: Waitemata Central, Waitakere Hospital Type: Permanent Full-Time The Waitemata Central Team oversees patient flow for North Shore and Waitakere Hospital, along with resource management for both sites and Emergency Management response when required. The Access Manager role for Waitakere will coordinate and manage service activities to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care for patients and families / whanau. You will effectively contribute as a member of the Waitemata Central management team across Waitemata in line with the business plan and the organization's strategic direction. With previous experience in management roles, you will provide leadership and management to ensure staff are able to contribute effectively to the achievement of service objectives and performance targets. The Waitakere Duty Nurse Manager team will report to you, and your leadership of this after-hours team will ensure they are part of any access and flow initiatives. You will be driving the strategic, tactical, and operational change needed to improve access to care and patient flow across the campus.
