(Are you an amazing Access and Consent Coordinator?)We're looking for a talented Access and Consent Coordinator to help us keep the good energy flowing on a 12-month fixed term basis.In this interesting and varied role, you will maintain and establish relationships to ensure that land access to convey electricity and associated infrastructure is obtained and legally protected, contributing towards the safe and legally compliant operation of the electricity network.Based in our Gisborne office, this role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Projects and Firstlight Network, landowners/occupiers, tangata whenua and Councils to communicate and coordinate the securing of land access to ensure the continued safe operation of the electricity network.This role is part of the Land and Planning team, and you'll be well supported by our experienced planners and advisors based around the motu.QualificationsHe aha tau e kawe mai (What you will bring)Along with your relevant qualifications (Land or Environmental Management, Property, Planning or Business Studies) and 3+ years practical experience working in a land access liaison, land management, planning or property management role, you will have:Exceptional people skillsStrong oral and written communicationNegotiation skillsYou'll ideally have a good understanding of property law basics – survey plans, titles, easements etc, as well as environmental planning experience and/or a good understanding of the Resource Management Act and related environmental regulation.Additional InformationNga ahuatanga kei a matou (What's In It For You)You'll be valued for who you are, rewarded for what you do and supported to thrive.
