Are you an experienced leader wanting to manage a remote team?
Our client, a global leader in the engineering space, is looking for an IT Operations Manager! If you have experience in leading teams and core Microsoft 365 applications/services, we want to hear from you!
This is a fully remote role, but you must be based within Australia for this position.
Responsibilities: Serve as the senior representative for all operational activities.
Mentor, oversee, coach, and train technical support staff.
Assist team members in troubleshooting technical issues.
Support specialists in managing, monitoring, and optimizing service performance, stability, and security.
Act as the primary contact for technical escalations.
Onboard new technical support team members.
Monitor and report on service performance metrics.
Establish work specifications and provide technical direction.
Participate in a follow-the-sun model to ensure global support.
Collaborate on implementing redundant systems, policies, and procedures for business continuity.
Provide on-call support and extended working hours when required, and be willing to accept periodic rotation.
Experience & Skills: Demonstrate practical experience in workplace operations and technical leadership.
Advanced, comprehensive knowledge of workplace services and infrastructure.
Experience in large/global enterprise IT environments.
Experience working within the ITIL framework.
Knowledge of core Microsoft services & applications, including:
Active Directory
Exchange and Exchange Online
Teams and SharePoint
Intune and MDM
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
Salary/Package: $150,000
