Job Description The mission of Go Biz IT Consulting team is to spearhead accelerated adoption and productive use of Zoho Applications.
The team undertakes implementations of projects for Small and Medium Business.
Within the New Zealand Consulting team, the Architect role will provide technology leadership, guidance, and technology risk mitigation in the development and delivery of complex SAAS application projects. The Consultant will seek to establish credibility and trust with customers in helping to secure and deliver projects using Zoho Apps and technology.
The role involves with technical understanding of the workings of Zoho Applications. We mainly focus on Zoho CRM, but knowledge in other Zoho apps is a plus. You will also play a role in business development activities once you get to know Zoho, undertaking pre-sales, design and development phases.
The role applies advanced analysis skills and experience in principles of system architecture to define appropriate customer solutions. To be credible he or she must have current and deep experience with implementation online software for Small and Medium business. Understanding of competitive technology enables the Architect to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with customer solutions hosted on, non-Zoho platforms. Advanced domain knowledge in one or more vertical industries is also an asset.

The focus of this position is the design and development of solutions that utilise Zoho technology to achieve high quality solutions. This role will also lead the creation of case studies and references based on these solutions.
Desired Qualifications / Requirements
- Expert level knowledge required assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying solutions
- Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex development topics to both executive and technical personnel
- Experience selling consulting engagements which includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk.
- A deep understanding of, and ability to use and explain all aspects of, distributed application development in Zoho Apps and associated technologies and standards
- Exceptional demonstrated consulting skills
- Enterprise deployment experience in heterogeneous environments
- Good listener, good learner and good understanding of business processes.
- Ability to move between high level architectural review/design and the "roll up the sleeves" level of actually doing all phases of an application delivery project
- Preferably been involved in or responsible for the successful design and development of projects with effort scales of 4-12 months. Where you have been the solutions architect role in seeing the solution from design into production through the development process.
- Experience with integration of non-Zoho technologies between different platform providers
- Experience in managing solutions through the complete lifecycle - including production deployment and a good understanding of industry project methodologies
- Has the ability to make clear an unambiguous decisions and trade offs during project delivery (on technical and architecture topics)
- Has good writing and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate concepts and designs to the delivery teams
