C3 Christchurch has congregations meeting in three different locations: South City C3, St Martins C3 and Urban Oasis C3. About the Role This role involves developing and overseeing a high-quality programme for young people in years 9-13 at South City C3 and St Martins C3, as well as their friends. Through weekly events during the school term, holiday camps, missions, and other activities, you will work to establish a safe and engaging environment where young people can grow in faith. As part of this role, the youth pastor will be expected to attend church services on Sundays to connect with youth after church, especially those new to the church, and help them connect to the youth programme. Attendance will be primarily at St Martins C3 but occasionally at South City C3 too. You will need flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Our ideal applicant will have experience in the following areas: Growing a team of leaders including identifying, vetting and training new leaders Providing discipleship and pastoral care to young people Preparing and delivering quality Biblical teaching to young people This is a permanent part-time role for 12 hours per week, with an opportunity for up to 22 hours per week of children and youth programme-related work for those seeking additional hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr
