Y5 and 6 Classroom Teacher Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 27/01/2025, End Date: 17/12/2025 (Roll growth)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects include: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts.
You'll deliver the New Zealand Curriculum in an engaging, innovative, and culturally responsive manner while building relationships with students across the team. You will support students in striving for excellence and developing their self-management and independent skills.
About you:
Registered teacher with a current practising certificate.
Experience teaching at the Y5–6 level is preferred.
Strong commitment to incorporating te reo Maori and tikanga Maori in the classroom.
An open and collaborative teacher with a flexible teaching philosophy and style.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong team player who values collaboration and is eager to contribute to a cohesive and supportive teaching team.
