As a Workshop Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our fleet's mechanical excellence while fostering a motivated, high-performing team.What you'll do:Support the Workshop Manager in coordinating and supervising daily workshop operationsDistribute workloads based on team strengths and ensure timely service and repairsInspire and lead by example, fostering a collaborative and motivated team cultureEnsure vehicles exceed customer expectations in appearance, functionality, and complianceTrain, coach, and develop workshop staff, sharing your technical expertiseMaintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the workshopCommunicate progress, escalate unresolved issues, and uphold thl's customer-focused valuesWhat you'll bring:Experience: Five plus years of mechanical expertise or a full NZQA Trade CertificationKnowledge: In-depth understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and warrantiesLeadership: Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, train, and support your teamCustomer focus: Passionate about delivering top-notch service and fleet qualityTechnical proficiency: Competence in diagnostics, repairs, and Microsoft Office toolsDrive: Full driver's licence and flexibility to work varied hours, including weekendsWhat we offer:A collaborative, people-focused work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsThe chance to work with an iconic tourism brand making travel dreams come trueBe a part of something bigger at thl.
