Inframax Construction is a civil construction and road maintenance company based in Te Kuiti, working across Ruapehu, Waitomo and Otorohanga districts.
We have an opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Inframax Construction team, leading the organisations workshop servicing, maintenance programme and fleet management as Workshop Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities include: Programme and plan the regular structural repairs of our heavy machinery, vehicle and small plant, working with specialist suppliers and contractors when required.Organised the regular inspection and preventative maintenance programme.Ensure the fleet is compliant with all NZTA compliance standards.Work closely with Operational Teams to ensure work is programmed and delivered in a timely manner to align with contractual priorities.Supervise and support our team of awesome Technicians and Apprentices Oversight of the financial accountability for the Workshop, ensuring it is productive and costs are managedBeing hands on when it's required, whether that be on callout or to ensure the job is completed on time.The right person will be a skilled mechanic or engineer who has led a Workshop team successfully for at least 5 years.
We are looking for someone with experience in the heavy transport mechanical industry, strong with relationships with external providers and someone who is great with our people and passionate about maintaining a high level of service across our fleet.
You are unflappable, able to juggle multiple priorities at once, and communicate to all, solving problems is your superpower. Proficient with eRoad, Microsoft 365, fleet management and financial systems is important. And you'll have a current up to Class 4 License, with WTRF.
