The workshop supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the working, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role involves coordinating production activities, managing the manufacturing team and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

DUTIES
Continual improvement with Lean manufacturing and 5S
Oversee the manufacturing and assemble of kitchen components to ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards
Lead, train and mentor the manufacturing team and apprentices.
Liaise between Manager, manufacturing team, and Installation teams.
Follow our procedures in correspondence and ensure that products meet the schedule outcomes
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to workshop staff based on project schedules and skill sets.
Maintaining stock levels for workshop and projects
Adhere and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Confident in problem-solving
To stay two steps ahead of the game.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Proven experience as a workshop supervisor or similar role within a joinery business
Strong knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, materials and machinery
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Presentable appearance and articulate.
Sound computer skills, and planning skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans and production schedules
Calm and organised nature
