Workshop Foreman Our client is a well-known independent Automotive specialist workshop looking for their next Workshop Foreman to lead their top-tier team in Whangarei, Northland. They are a European and EV specialist , however service and accommodate all brands and clients within the local area. This will be a 90% off the tool's role, focussing on workshop flow, guidance and ensuring smooth back-end operations. Benefits $85,000 base salary with company vehicle 100% NZ Owned Company Ongoing personal & professional development Friday BBQ's and family involved socials As the Workshop Foreman, you will be at the forefront of a powerhouse crew consisting of 6 highly skilled technicians, igniting their performance to drive workshop efficiency, skyrocket productivity, and guarantee a high quality of workmanship. The Role Lead the workshop team to deliver a high level of workmanship Oversee workshop operations efficiently and ensure productivity Have clear and effective communication with technicians and frontline staff Support, measure and lead the workshop team Communicate with clients when requested and perform vehicle test drives The role will suit an existing Foreman, looking for less time on the tools, whilst getting more groomed for a Service Manager role and learning the business aspect of Aftersales. About You Leadership or foreman experience within an automotive dealership or workshop A team player with strong motivational skills Technical and diagnostic resolution and guidance 3-4 years on the tool's senior technician experience Excellent communication abilities Extensive technical knowledge and experience with vehicles The position is only open to local applicants with NZ Citizenship or working rights in NZ.
