Your new companyJoin an organization who have 150 years in the food manufacturing industry offering products to both national and international customers.They are looking for a Workplace, Health and Safety specialist to join the team in 2025!Your new roleEnsure the effective implementation of workplace, health, safety and environment (WHSE) management systems in alignment with organisational policies, procedures and legal requirementsWork with site managers, team leaders and employees to embed policies and procedures into daily operations through guidance, support and trainingCoordinate WHSE induction and training programsConduct site audits and inspections ensuring timely resolution of any identified issuesPrepare and deliver toolbox talks to raise awareness and drive engagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support WHSE initiatives across the businessManage injury claims, coordinate return to work programmes with site management and liaising with ACC to monitor progress and outcomesWhat you'll need to succeedStrong understanding of WHSE legislation, policies and proceduresMinimum workplace, health and safety diploma / qualificationsProven experience in coaching, training and engaging teams at all levels to foster a safety-first cultureAbility to conduct risk assessments, manage incidents and implement practical solutionsStrong communication and relationship building skillsExperience in FMCG industry is highly advantageousWhat you'll get in returnJoin a driven team who will support you on your journey!Growth opportunitiesCompetitive remunerationHealth insuranceFree parkingFood products providedWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Shanise now on 036695534 or email ****** this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
