Do you have a passion for adult education and training within the Healthcare sector? We are seeking a qualified nurse to join our team in a permanent, part-time role as a Workforce Development Coordinator.
About the Role Reporting to a supportive Quality Manager and working alongside and in consultation with the Clinical Management Team, key responsibilities of the role include:
Oversight of the induction and orientation programme for all staff in the region
Ensuring accurate records are held of all internal and external training
Facilitation of ongoing training programmes
As required, consultation and the provision of training for the management team
Liaising with the Workforce Development Team in our Christchurch service
Consultation on, and assisting with the implementation of, our newly launched internal Learning Management System
This is an on-site role based at St John of God Karori, 16 hours per week, with the flexibility to choose your own work pattern.
About You Our ideal candidate is passionate about staff development and has previous experience coordinating workplace training programs. Other qualities we are seeking include:
A nursing qualification and registration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technologically savvy and innovative
Proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
A Careerforce Workplace Assessor (or are willing to train to become one)
Culturally competent and understanding of Enabling Good Lives (EGL) principles
Strong organisational skills
