Tradestaff are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team for a start in September!

Requirements: WOF Certification: Essential for performing Warrant of Fitness inspections.Relevant Experience: Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, including diagnostic and repair skills.Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair techniques.Full Class 1 License: Full New Zealand driver's licence.Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members.Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities: WOF Inspections: Conducting Warrant of Fitness inspections in accordance with NZ regulations and safety standards.Diagnostics & Repairs: Diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on various types of vehicles.Customer Service: Communicating effectively with customers to explain issues, repair options, and provide recommendations.Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with legal and safety standards.Upkeep: Keeping the workshop clean and organised, and ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.Rewards: Competitive Salary: Attractive remuneration package based on experience and skills.Work Environment: Friendly and supportive team environment with a commitment to work-life balance.Professional Development: Opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.
