Specifics of the role
Engaging with Victims (Kaimamae) and their wider Whanau to assess risk, identify protective factors, complete safety planning, advise on police processes, offer supports & arranging On-Referrals for specialised support..Building relationships with other Government and Non-Government Agencies working in the Family Harm space.Instituting/participating in, and/or facilitating Professionals Consult.Providing support for the Police Family Harm Team, as required.Key Accountabilities: Engaging with diverse Individuals – Ages, Cultures, Ethnicity and Gender.Problem Solving.Maintain accurate Records.Positive Engagement with other Teams (Internal & External). This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $80,295 and $83,973 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
