About this role: The aim of the Whairawa team is to enhance Te Mana Motuhake o Tuhoe through greater economic participation and self-sufficient actions of its Tribal communities and Iwi members.
Managing the growth and return of key infrastructure undertakings and opportunities will lead to Tuhoe dominance of industry and the economy within the Tuhoe rohe boundary.
The Whairawa Lead coordinates the activities of the Whairawa team.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, the aim of which is to establish a number of new Whairawa projects and get them to a maintenance phase.
What we are wanting to see: A dynamic, effective, onto it team, where activities and results are transparent and coherently working towards the furtherment of Te Mana Motuhake o Tuhoe.
About You: Experience in leading projects Proven interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
High level of written communication skills and attention to detail.
High level of skill in the areas of planning, organising, problem solving, decision making and initiative.
Tertiary qualification in Project Management or similar discipline.
