About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced HR Professional for a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover position. We are happy to consider applicants that seek part time or full time hours for this role.
Based in our Tauranga office, we are looking for an HR Professional who can bring their previous advisory skills and knowledge to support our Partners and managers to help drive our culture and the teams' success. This is a pivotal role in our team, so having previous HR experience and an ability to communicate well in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment is a must.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Providing an HR and people focused lens while guiding and supporting the HR function Supervising the HR team which currently consists of x2 HR/Payroll Administrators Providing quality advice and support across the full HR spectrum including:ER and performance management; Remuneration and benefits; Health and Safety; DEI and Wellbeing initiatives; End-to-end recruitment and talent management. You will work closely with the Partners and management to establish and maintain solid relationships and successfully support the full employee lifecycle. This role has a strong focus on embedding best practice people processes, supporting the growth and development of our great people and providing strategic advice and coaching.
Skills and experience 5+ years' experience in People and Culture/HR - preferably in a Professional Services environment. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at a senior leadership level. Confident working autonomously to provide specialist advice on all people matters. Ability to provide performance management guidance to Leaders, including coaching on the performance improvement process and proactive employee development. Ability to support implementation of systems and processes to support continuous improvement and elevate overall business performance. Experience in leading end-to-end recruitment. Proven ability to manage and resolve employee relations issues with a focus on fairness and compliance.
