WellSouth Primary Health Network Board Members WellSouth Primary Health Network – Dunedin, South Island WellSouth Primary Health Network Board Member Location: Otago and Southland Four-year term WellSouth Primary Health Network is tasked with facilitating the best health and wellbeing for our community across Otago and Southland. We do this by empowering and supporting primary care providers to deliver sustainable, accessible, equitable quality care to Southern communities. This is a bold vision, and our board and senior leadership team work together to identify how we can do this with a Te Tiriti and equity-driven foundation. We are looking for passionate members of our community to complement our existing board members and bring leadership, experience and insights to help deliver our vision. We are seeking two new members to join the WellSouth board. One role is for someone with a health sector background (but not a nurse, nurse practitioner or general practitioner as these roles are filled). The second role is non-clinical, suited for someone with solid business governance and leadership expertise. Across the positions, we need advocates for the community, strategic thinkers and leaders who can adapt to a changing environment, embracing digital enablement and transformation. Your resume would show an ability to manage change and risk, govern and develop teams and you would also likely have proven financial nous. WellSouth governance sets the direction and vision for the organisation, high-functioning, diverse and passionate locals with clinical and non-clinical experience. If you have some or all these skills and our values resonate with you, get in touch. Primary health is at the heart of our community. And while the health sector is ever-changing, the fundamental purpose remains the same – to get the best care for our people. Be part of our visionary governance, make a difference.
