Currently seeks the skills of a highly skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator / Welder.
This is a full-time permanent position with guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week.
Immediate start available.
Remuneration based on your skills, qualification and experience.
Workplace is based in Warkworth, however you may be requested to work off site in other areas of New Zealand.
We would prefer a person already residing in New Zealand however we would consider an overseas application providing they can obtain a New Zealand work visa.

Requirements The right candidate will be fully competent to work with fine tolerances and able to work from Engineering's drawings for sheet metal, structural steel and machinery repair.
Able to use all associated equipment, brake press, guillotine, plasma cutters, riveting, folding, welding and sheet metal fabrication.
Milling and machining knowledge is an advantage.
Experience in MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
Qualification/skills needed:
NZQF Level 4 (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) – Trade qualification or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years preferably 10+ years relevant industry workshop experience. Fully competent to work on his own, and work confidently unsupervised. Be a team player, and able to take lead in a team if required. Work from Engineering Drawings with a strong problem-solving attitude. Substantial experience to troubleshoot on already created structures and products, and be able to repair them to engineering standard. Eye for detail and be able to examine own work for quality check and take ownership/responsibility for neat and clean work/workspace. Be able to meet deadlines. Availability to be on-call on a roster basis. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Current New Zealand Class 1 driver's license - Class 4 is an advantage A strong commitment to Health and Safety Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
