Welder / Metal Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced welder; The primary responsibility for this role is to fabricate, assemble and weld thin gauge pressed metal components to detail and to complete all work assigned to you by a nominated Leading hand/supervisor within reasonable timeframes and to a high standard of quality using the established standard manufacturing procedures and safe operating procedures.    You will participate in the manufacturing of doors.
This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $30-$40 depending on skills and experience.
For this role, we are looking for a tradesperson or equivalent with at least 3 years verifiablle welding experience, with the following requirements:
§  Work within tolerance; ensure quality in the product
§  Maintaining production levels as required
§  Sound written and verbal communication skills
§  Comply with standards and procedures of Spence Doors following WHS guidelines and wear personal protective equipment
§  Ability and willingness to follow direction as well as the ability to work independently
§  Must be able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square
§  Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specification
§  Must be able to operate sheet metal machinery and welding equipment
