Job Description:

Progressive is seeking a passionate and confident Web Chat Manager to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in web chat management.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the web chat team, ensuring high-quality customer service and timely responses.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and satisfaction through web chat.
3. Monitor and analyze web chat performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of web chat services.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management.
6. Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
7. Handle escalated customer inquiries and provide resolutions in a timely manner.

Requirements:
1. 6+ years of experience in web chat management or a related field.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
3. Excellent research skills to stay informed on industry trends and customer preferences.
4. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through web chat.
5. Confidence in making decisions and handling challenging situations.
6. Ability to thrive in an energetic and rapidly evolving work setting.
