The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Wayfinder Lead to guide and empower both Support Workers and Life Stylers to thrive. What does a Wayfinder Lead do? This leadership role focuses on coaching and developing your own team of Support Workers that support Life Stylers in navigating services, resources, and opportunities. The Wayfinder Lead is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team that fosters growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Trust empowers its staff by providing clear performance expectations and regular feedback. You will also collaborate closely with other Leads to ensure seamless support and program implementation. What is the Wayfinder Approach? It's about guiding staff in supporting Life Stylers to advocate for themselves and pursue their goals. This is done by ensuring staff follow the 7-Stage Wayfinder Plan and embed Support Plans into Life Stylers' daily lives. Staff also encourage innovative solutions to ensure Life Stylers have access to the facilities and equipment they need for success.
