We currently have a vacancy for a Water Treatment Supervisor as the first line of management, who is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day workload of the operators operating and maintaining water treatment assets in our Central Hawke's Bay contract. This involves but is not limited to pricing projects, ordering materials, and planning and scheduling operational and project delivery.The Supervisor will coordinate the daily activity of the team, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and safety profitability.Supervise the Water Treatment team and contractors involved.Assist in the operation and maintenance of the water, wastewater, and stormwater networks throughout the Central Hawkes Bay District as required.Complete the associated administration work in an accurate and timely manner.Participate in the on-call roster if required.Contribute to the management of Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.The Supervisor must continually drive for improvement by promoting new initiatives, challenging the status quo, and aiming for improved efficiencies and operational outcomes.In line with Veolia Water's Vision and Mission Statements, the Supervisor is responsible for building and maintaining successful and effective relationships with Veolia Water personnel, client representatives, suppliers, and customers.Comply with the requirements of Veolia Water New Zealand Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Policy Statements, including participation at local toolbox and health and safety meetings.Adhere to all written and verbal instructions, procedures, and information issued by Veolia Water New Zealand relating to both health and safety and environmental issues and with all relevant clauses of the Integrated Business Management System Manual.Comply with the requirements of the company business management system and the Quality Policy for drinking water, wastewater treatment, and disposal to contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high-quality drinking water and wastewater services that consistently meet or exceed the requirements of the Contracts.The Supervisor is to ensure service delivery demonstrates Veolia Water's commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service while meeting performance and service Key Performance Indicators and applying Quality and Health and Safety procedures.Report any problems with the business management system, particularly in relation to the management of occupational health and safety, environment, and drinking water.Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provision of services to the client and customers.What you'll need to be successfulQualifications:
? Level 4 National Certificate Water Treatment is advantageous or other similar qualifications.
Experience:
? Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment and/or water, wastewater, and stormwater network operation and maintenance.
? Previous experience in service delivery and/or trade is considered advantageous.

? Current driver's licence (preferably with Class 2).
? Ability and willingness to work out of hours when required.
? Required to take part in an after-hours on-call roster.
? Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Health and Safety legislation.
