About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Plumber/Drain layer to join their team in Hawkes Bay. This full-time role is responsible for carrying out a wide range of plumbing and drainage services to both residential and commercial customers. As a key member of their team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing:
Undertaking all plumbing and drainage work, including maintenance, repairs, and installations. Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing and drainage issues. Working efficiently within a small team, liaising with builders, subcontractors, clients, and wholesalers. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team. What they're looking for:
Qualified Plumber/Drain layer with a minimum of 4 years' experience. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety. What they offer:
