What The Job Involves

This is an exciting new role that will see you lead high performing teams to support the maintenance and development of Council infrastructure across 3 waters activities (drinking water, wastewater and stormwater). You will provide technical leadership, support and advice and will take a lead role in managing 3 waters compliance and programme delivery.

You will confidently manage and drive project delivery, engaging with consultants and contractors and effectively managing contracts. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders will be imperative, as will be your ability to deliver and present accurate reports with confidence on all 3 waters activities. This role will guarantee you diversity of work, challenge and the direct opportunity to make a real difference for our community.

Who are we looking for?

A driven professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering and at least ten years' relevant experience post study, ideally in the 3 waters industry. We are looking for a team player who demonstrates conceptual and analytical ability, along with a sound understanding of all aspects of compliance across 3 waters activities including legislation, regulatory frameworks and consents.

You will have significant managerial experience and will set high standards for yourself and others, motivating a high performing team to work collaboratively for the future of our community. You will have strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
