About the you and the roleWorking closely with the Solid Waste Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking all bin inspection tasks relating to the wheelie bin recycling service, by ensuring compliance of bin inspection tasks and managing all tasks associated with the Wastedge Bin Inspector software system in a timely manner to meet business deadlines.
Knowledge of Invercargill and Southland would be an advantage, as is previous experience in the use of a tablet for data recording and taking photos.
Previous customer service experience would also be an advantage, as would the ability to undertake conflict resolution.
If you possess a high standard of interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), pay strict attention to detail and maintain a high standard of accuracy, we want to hear from you!
The ability to relate confidently and professionally to clients, management and staff is essential, as is the ability to cope well under pressure and prioritise your workload.
The job involves working outside in all weather conditions, so you will need to be physically fit.
Class 1 full class drivers' licence is required.
