We have an exciting opportunity for a Draughting Officer to join our Asset Management team.
This could suit either an experienced draughting professional or someone who is early in their career but keen to learn.

Role Purpose: As a Draughting Officer based in Invercargill, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining engineering drawings within AutoCAD and Red Eye, PowerNet's drawing management system.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, accessible, and up-to-date information is available to support effective asset management and project success across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Produce and maintain high-quality, detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD Manage and maintain drawing databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility, and maintaining a high level of quality control Collaborate on and propose improvements to drawing database systems Support draughting projects and contribute to the development of new systems and processes Develop your knowledge of GIS databases and electrical systems to enhance drawing outputs Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Ideally you will have at least 1-2 years' experience in draughting, with a strong command of current draughting practices Proficiency in creating complex drawings using AutoCAD Strong understanding of drawing management and quality maintenance for end-users Familiarity with new draughting systems and techniques Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of GIS databases and electrical drawings is advantageous Why Join Us?
