Waste Minimisation Officer

Stratford District Council is recruiting for a Waste Minimisation Officer to join the team.You will be responsible for managing and providing strategic guidance and support on delivering waste management and minimisation activities in accordance with Council's strategic documents and legislative requirements, ensuring Councils Waste Minimisation Plan and Solid Waste Asset Management Plans are implemented and maintained.This position is part time (20 hours per week) and will be located at the Stratford District Council, Miranda Street, Stratford, however flexible working arrangements may be available in time.About YouYou are an energetic and enthusiastic team player who has a keen eye for detail and accuracy, a well organised self-starter who is able to manage multiple activities at once.You have appropriate qualifications in a relevant field, and knowledge of local government asset management and waste minimisation.
